PodFolio Privacy Policy

This page describes how PodFolio and its publisher, PCN Group, may process personal data when you use the PodFolio website and app.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to the public PodFolio website and the PodFolio mobile app, including features such as account sign-in, cloud sync, downloads, and subscriber-only podcast access flows.

Data we may process

  • Basic account identifiers used for sign-in or sync, such as your Google account identity.
  • App usage data needed to provide core features, such as subscriptions, listening progress, saved episodes, and download state.
  • Technical data such as device, browser, app version, and diagnostic information when required for security, stability, or support.
  • Information you provide when using subscriber-only integrations, such as credentials or identifiers needed to validate access.

Why the data is used

  • To provide the app and website.
  • To sync your library and listening progress across devices.
  • To enable Premium access and app purchase validation.
  • To support subscriber-only podcast imports and access checks.
  • To maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Data sharing

PodFolio may rely on third-party service providers that support hosting, authentication, sync, payments, analytics, or subscriber verification. Data is shared only when needed to operate those services.

In the web version of PodFolio, browsers cannot contact Il Post directly, so Il Post requests, including your login credentials and session cookies, are relayed through a proxy operated by PCN Group on Cloudflare Workers. The proxy forwards them to Il Post and does not store or log your credentials or session.

Podcast search in PodFolio sends the words you type to Apple's public podcast directory (iTunes Search) to find shows. PodFolio does not store these searches. A Spotify link you paste is not sent anywhere until you open it.

Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Your choices

  • You can choose whether to create an account or use features that require sign-in.
  • You can stop using the website or app at any time.
  • You can contact the publisher to request information about your data, subject to applicable law.

Contact

For privacy-related questions, write to info@pcngroup.ch or contact the publisher through pcngroup.ch.

This policy is available in Italian and English. If the two versions differ, the Italian version prevails.
